Sharpening

MuTech maintain sharpening as one of our flagship services. 

We do not attempt to copy other OEM manufacturers, but have derived our own dedicated geometry sets through empirical development and extensive client consultation.  

Unlike other sharpening providers we aim to achieve premium performance from our sharpened cutters and provide the user with 'as new' cutting characteristics and tool life. 

We offer a range of dedicated tool geometries to suit Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Cast Iron, Hardened Steel and Plastics. We also can develop geometries for new material applications and rapidly integrate them into our existing range. 

Whilst reverse engineering can always be applied, it has proven to be of extremely limited benefit against MuTech's proprietary offerings.  

The implementation of MuTech's sharpening service has enabled our clients to dramatically extend tool life and slash overall tooling costs, while adding new levels of consistency and reliability to their machining processes.
